About Attorney Jack
Donaldson
John "Jack" Donaldson is an attorney admitted
to the practice of law in the State Courts of Ohio, as well as the
Federal Courts in the Southern District of Ohio. A 1983 graduate of
Xavier University,1986 graduate of the University of Dayton School of
Law, a member of the National Moot Court Team as well as a member
of Psi Chi Psychology Honorary Society. Jack served as a law
clerk to the Honorable Arthur O. Fisher (Montgomery County Juvenile
Court Judge).
Upon graduation from the University of Dayton School of
Law, he joined the law firm of Coden, Pfarrer, Crew & Becker in
Dayton, Ohio. Atty. Donaldson concentrated his practice in the
area of Workers' Compensation and Domestic Relations. Atty.
Donaldson, while working in Dayton, was legal counsel for Dayton's
largest employer (General Motors Corporation). General Motors had
ten (10) plants in Dayton, Ohio. Atty. Donaldson also served as an
acting referee in the Montgomery County Juvenile Court. Atty.
Donaldson was an associate attorney with Calhoun, Benzin, Kademenos
& Hiechel from 1991 until 1993 where he began doing Claimant
work.
In April 1993 Atty. Donaldson opened his own private
practice in Mansfield, Ohio. He has lectured on workers'
compensation at the administrative, common pleas court and appellate
levels.
The area of Workers' Compensation is ever changing in
the State of Ohio, and is one of the most politically charged subjects
before the Ohio Legislature. Recent changes affect the medical
practitioner, the employer and the claimant's rights to receive benefits
and compensation. Mr. Donaldson's current hearing docket consists
of anywhere from 30-60 hearings per week. This encompasses the
handling of hearings from law offices across the State of Ohio
(Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Toledo, Cleveland, Akron, &
Canton).
